Casa Pineda Extravagante is an artisanal mezcal that tells the story of Michoacán’s wild beauty and deep craft tradition.

Crafted by Maestro Mezcalero Giovani Morales in Tzitzio, Michoacán, this mezcal is made from 100 % Agave Cupreata, a varietal known for its bold yet refined character. Every step—from the roasting of the maguey to the final distillation — is done by hand, capturing the rugged spirit of the region.

On the nose, it reveals a soft, caramelized aroma of cooked maguey, layered with earthy, herbal, and spicy undertones and a delicate hint of chocolate. The palate opens with a medium sweetness, balanced by a fresh, herbal finish and deep notes of cocoa, cinnamon, and subtle smoke. There’s a smooth, almost savory echo — a faint whisper of roasted meats—that lingers gracefully.
